Tony Blair praises work of North Belfast PiA schools
Sir Tony Blair who was UK Prime Minister at the time of the Good Friday/Belfast Agreement in 1998 has praised the work of our North Belfast cluster of schools. Speaking to the Northern Ireland Affairs Committee he talked about how their document showed young people's ideas about changing the mechanisms of the Northern Ireland Assembly to ensure that all political perspectives are heard.
It is a lovely surprise to the group to have this recognition and shows the importance of the work our young people do and that important people are listening to their ideas about change and building a better peace.
